Celluma LED Light Therapy

This professional-grade light therapy is the only FDA approved light therapy device for treating skin conditions such as wrinkles, acne, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, and bacteria. Using NASA’s proven technology, low-level light emitting diodes stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, boosts ATP (the primary energy carrier in every living organism), cell turnover, improves the appearance of scars, reduces inflammation, oxygenates the skin, improves the skin’s ability to retain moisture, and enhances skin texture.

Natology incorporates Celluma LED light therapy either as a standalone treatment or as an add on to ANY other professional treatments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Celluma?

Celluma is unique and quite unlike any other low-level light therapy device available today.Based on NASA research, Celluma delivers blue, red and near-infrared light energy simultaneously to safely treat a wide variety of conditions. Each wavelength is absorbed by different molecules that act as a signaling mechanism for different cellular processes. For example, some reduce inflammation and some kill bacteria, while others enhance localized circulation.

How does it work?

Celluma provides energy that helps compromised cells regenerate naturally by  stimulating  the production of growth factors influencing the inflammatory process, healing and wound repair). For those of you science nerds like us here Natology, here’s a more in depth explanation:

Specific wavelengths of light energy, when properly absorbed, up-regulates compromised cells. The light (photons) energy is absorbed by photoacceptors in the mitochondria and used to create adenosine triphosphate (ATP). The ATP produced then stimulates various metabolic processes which can result in the repair and regeneration of cell and tissue components. In an article, “Therapeutic Light” -by Chukuku S. Enwemeka, PT, PhD, FACSM, he wrote “other reported mechanisms of light-induced beneficial effects include modulation of prostaglandin levels, alteration of somatosensory evoked potential and nerve conduction velocity, and hyperemia of treated tissues. The resultant clinical benefits include pain relief in conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, bursitis, tendonitis, ankle sprain, and temporomandibular joint dysfunction, shoulder and neck pain, arthritis, and post-herpetic neuralgia, as well as tissue repair in cases of diabetic ulcer, venous ulcer, mouth ulcer, fractures, tendon rupture, ligamentous, tear, torn cartilage, and nerve injury.

How does it help with pain & skin conditions?

It increases the production of collagen & elastin, increases blood circulation and decreases inflammation.

How long does it take to work?

Most people feel, or see, an improvement with one or two uses.

How many sessions will I need?

This very much depends on the skin condition and goal. For maximum benefits in acne and wrinkle improvement, two to four treatments are recommended each week for ten to twelve weeks.

But does it really work?

Yes! The technology embedded in Celluma was developed by NASA. Celluma is a multiple award winning technology and has been named the #1 chosen light therapy device for its results.

Will I feel anything?

No, there is little or no sensation, Celluma helps tissue heal naturally from the inside out. Afterwards you should feel rejuvenation and experience less pain.
